Legal Status of the Vessels<\/h2>\nAll vessels offered through White Island Charter hold a valid charter licence, carry mandatory civil\nliability insurance, and are equipped with all safety gear required under current Spanish maritime legislation.\n\nCertain vessels within our fleet may be owned by independent third-party owners who operate under their\nown charter permits. Where this is the case, the specific conditions applicable to each vessel are set out in\nits individual specification sheet. The Client is responsible for reviewing these conditions prior to departure;\nunfamiliarity with such conditions does not exempt the Client from compliance.\n\n<h2>2. Booking Confirmation<\/h2>\nA booking is considered confirmed only once the following two conditions have been met simultaneously:\n<ul>\n<li>White Island Charter has received a deposit equal to <strong>50% of the total charter price<\/strong>; and<\/li>\n<li>Written confirmation has been issued by White Island Charter (via email or other documented means).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nUntil both conditions are fulfilled, availability is not guaranteed and no contractual obligation arises on either party.\n\n<h2>3. Payment Terms and Methods<\/h2>\n<h3>Payment schedule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>50% of the total charter price is due at the time of booking to secure the reservation.<\/li>\n<li>The remaining 50% must be settled in full before embarkation. Under no circumstances may the Client board the vessel with an outstanding balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Accepted payment methods<\/h3>\nAll amounts are denominated and payable in euros (\u20ac). The following payment methods are accepted:\n<ul>\n<li>Bank transfer (no surcharge).<\/li>\n<li>Payment link \u2013 subject to a processing surcharge of 2\u20133%, depending on the provider.<\/li>\n<li>Credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard) \u2013 no surcharge.<\/li>\n<li>American Express \u2013 subject to a 2.5% surcharge.<\/li>\n<li>Cash \u2013 accepted only by prior written agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nWhite Island Charter reserves the right to modify accepted payment methods and applicable surcharges\nat any time, with any changes communicated to the Client before payment is due.\n\n<h2>4. Charter Price<\/h2>\n<h3>Included in the price<\/h3>\nUnless otherwise expressly stated in the booking confirmation, the charter price covers:\n<ul>\n<li>Hire of the vessel for the agreed duration (standard charter: 8 hours).<\/li>\n<li>Mooring at the vessel\u2019s assigned base port for the duration of the charter.<\/li>\n<li>Vessel hull insurance and third-party liability insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Standard post-charter cleaning.<\/li>\n<li>Courtesy equipment and amenities as listed on the vessel\u2019s specification sheet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Not included in the price<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Fuel (see Section 5 below).<\/li>\n<li>Professional skipper services, unless specifically included in the booking confirmation.<\/li>\n<li>Mooring or berthing fees at ports other than the vessel\u2019s base port.<\/li>\n<li>Any additional services, extras, or consumables not mentioned in the booking confirmation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2>5. Fuel<\/h2>\nUnless the booking confirmation expressly states that fuel is included, all fuel costs are the sole\nresponsibility of the Client.\n\n<h2>6. Skipper and Security Deposit<\/h2>\n<h3>Skipper requirement<\/h3>\nCertain vessels in our fleet must be operated by a professional skipper provided by White Island Charter.\nOther vessels may be chartered without a skipper, provided the Client holds a valid navigation licence\nrecognised in Spain and appropriate for the vessel\u2019s category and navigation area.\n\n<h3>Security deposit<\/h3>\nA security deposit is mandatory for all bareboat (without skipper) charters.\n\n<h2>7. Charter Duration and Schedule<\/h2>\nThe standard charter duration is 8 hours.\n\n<h2>8. Base Port and Mooring<\/h2>\nEach vessel is assigned a designated base port.\n\n<h2>9. Maximum Passenger Capacity<\/h2>\nIn accordance with Spanish maritime regulations, the maximum number of passengers permitted on board\nrecreational charter vessels is <strong>12 persons (excluding crew)<\/strong>.\n\n<h2>10. Additional Services<\/h2>\nWhite Island Charter can arrange supplementary services upon request.\n\n<h2>11. Late Arrival and No-Show<\/h2>\nIf the Client has not arrived within 60 minutes of the scheduled departure time,\nthe charter may be treated as a no-show.\n\n<h2>13. Client Responsibilities and Conduct<\/h2>\nThe Client and all passengers agree to follow safety instructions and maritime laws.\n\n<h2>14. Limitation of Liability<\/h2>\nWhite Island Charter\u2019s liability is limited to the total charter price paid by the Client.\n\n<h2>15. Force Majeure<\/h2>\nWhite Island Charter shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.\n\n<h2>16. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction<\/h2>\nThese Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.\n\n<h2>17.
